1 hour - Sports Show

Last Thursday I went to the Sports meeting where we shot the first sports show. We had a guest from the women's soccer team. It took one hour and we had to shoot it twice. The first time John had a few blurters, but then he did very well. He looked professional and the interview went very smooth. The first time we shot it I was inside the studio, and the second time I decided to join Dakota in the other room to get some insights on all the technique.

30 min - Sports

I went to the Sports Meeting on Sept. 15. At the meeting we talked about the first show that we shot last thursday. And also we discussed that there are not a lot of sports events going on at the time. So I am now planning on going to all the News meetings from now on, too.

30 min - Sports

I went to the Sports meeting yesterday. I am planning on going to a couple of different meetings to see which one I feel will fit me the best in the end.
So at the meeting John gave a little speech on what is going to come up over the whole week. There will be three soccer games, two on friday and one on sunday. I told him I will be attending the one on Sunday at noon. Also he told me some general information about the studio and its hours, among some other important information.

30 min - News

I went to the Southern New meeting for the first time on Wednedsday. It was very interseting for me to se how FSC Comm students do their meetings. Anna first went over some organizational things (f.ex. that we're meeting on friday instead of wednesday next week), then she told us that we will not have to write any stories for nest week, because of Convo. Anna then showed us, the newbies, some of the technical studio equipment and how it works. After everyone received a copy of the script for the news show, John and Lauren did a practice round.  While they were acting as anchors, Anna explained to us where the camera would be focused at every moment of their performance.
